Please come and join members of the Exmoor Society and other local families for a relaxing picnic at Ashcombe, Nr Simonsbath. There will be an opportunity to paddle and stream dip with staff from The Heart of Exmoor. For those still awake there will be a short nature pootle walking along the River Barle finding out more about the wildlife and nature in this fascinating valley. Please bring your own food (lashings and lashings of ginger beer is mandatory of course!). Children must be accompanied by adults. Toilets on site. Parking available locally, as are additional refreshments. Please wear outdoor clothing and suitable footwear. If wet in the adjoining Simonsbath Sawmill, which will also be open for tours during the day.
