Education

Our work to bring the moorland heritage to life runs through several projects, and we collaborate with many education providers to do them.

Coordinated by David Rolls, our Moorland Education and Outreach Officer, the education projects rely on many of the Partners including the Exmoor Society (founders of the Exmoor Curriculum), the Exmoor National Park Authority, Nettlecombe Court FSC, the RSPB, West Somerset Community College, and the National Trust.

We also work with a wide range of other project partners, including (the list is always growing!) the Open Air Laboratory (OPAL), Exmoor Mires Project, Moorland Mousie Trust, Exmoor Pony Society, Young Devon, and so on.

All of the Programmes carry educational elements, but the main education projects are:

The Exmoor Moorland Landscape Partnership Scheme is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and our local partners and funders. Part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development 2007-2013: Europe investing in rural areas.
