The Heart of Exmoor projects are about communities as well as landscape. The people who live and work with the moorland of Exmoor National Park know it best.

Innovations include a pilot project to establish Moorkeepers, plus a Moor Skills project to pass moorland know-how to young farmers. The scheme works with moorland managers to organise practical demonstrations of methods and machinery, along with informal meetings and farm visits.
